O C T O P U S !

Many, many pieces of wire were used in the completion of this sculpture!
He has had many homes. Atop a corner cabinet. On a shelf in Kelly's room. In a tattoo shop. Now he sits on top of a filing rack with a heart made out of wire from a tattoo machine coil!

Many pieces of wire were used in the completion of this piece. It didn't turn out the way I anticipated,...however I like it.
It was originally trying to make a sculpted piece that you could put your hand into

This piece was very fun to make, it took about about 2 days. An older framing wire was used, a more rigid material with a more coppery color.I used small grommets for eyes and pins for eyes & color. I plan on making a web for it-( for a future blog!)

WireFly

This butterfly was made from 4 pieces of wire! I made it to go with the flower I gave my girlfriend-( she's allergic to actual flowers )
The flower is made form framing hardware, and a spool of wire is used as a pot

An Angler Fish. Framing wire was used, along with assorted / miscellaneous hardware. Wood screws for the teeth, brass grommets & bumpers for eyes, and an led for the bio luminescent bulb. This piece was really fun to make and was finished very quickly-( in comparison to the robot)

My first real attempt at wire sculpting.-( not since high school) A wire form sculpture of a robot, made from scrap picture framing wire, and assorted hardware. Springs to make muscles, and different colors of for accents on the legs. I'm not sure of the approximate time it took me to make him. I used a spool of wire as a base.
