(another) Paracord Leash

Triple braided shaft, with cobra stitched handles. 550lb paracord and a traditional steel clasp.

B E L T !

I made a flat, functional everyday wear belt!

App 44" x  1-1/4" x 1/4"

It's made from 2 pieces of 550lb black paracord. One piece is 100' ft. the 2nd piece is app 45"

With a steel buckle! It's cobra stitched for look, and for adjustability!

Paracord Dog Collar

This is for my friend Adam, well for his Dog Spike!

22"x 1-1/2" x 3/8"

550lb Grey & Purple paracord was used. A double cobra stitch in grey with the purple lacing together. A heavy duty plastic safety buckle was used with a steel fastener & steel ring.

This came out better than I had hoped!

Like little planets caught in a wire trap

These 3 amber & brown ceramic pieces have elaborate wire wrapping holding them in place. 

These are about the size of a quarter!

This little red glass piece is one of my favorites. Thinner wire was used for a more delicate feel. About the size of a nickel!

Agate Pendant

Smoothed Agate, wrapped with thinner gauge wire, bound with (app) 24" steel chain, and wire swept clasp.

This piece is app. 2"x 1-3/4" x 3/16" 

This came out great! A very fun, chunky, summer inspired piece

A wire wrapped glass sphere. I really like how this piece turned out!

Creativity, . . or the lack thereof

Creativity is a curious thing.
I've always thought of myself as creative. Others have noted that I am crafty, or clever. I agree with both of those assemments. But ( at least ) for me, creativity as of late is a fickle thing. Either its always been as such, or now that I'm in my late 30's I am more aware of such things and am simply more in my head, as it were. In any event, I am at a bit of a lose sometimes as how to be creative. **tangent warning** App 6 yr_s ago, I met a special someone who changed my life in every way, a person can be changed. She opened up the flood gates for my imagination, creativity, compassion, love, my very soul ( either in the spiritual sense or poetic) this lovely creature made me "me" and or allowed me to become better, more than I could've become by myself or as I would've been given my current situation at that time
( another story for another blog entry ) but this"woman" was, is and always will be my greatest source of inspiration. There's a saying "necessity is the mother of invention" the core sentiment of this expression/saying/idiom is a very true one. Simply put, given the correct circumstances certain individuals will rise to the occasion and achieve greatness. Greatness may be too strong a adjective, ... But if looked at comparatively, it's apropos. I may have gotten a wee bit off topic, ... Sorry folks ( and by folks I mean anybody who is nice enough to follow my narcissistic little E -Shrine)
Creativity, .... I am with out a Muse..... This troubles me somewhat... Because the only TRUE Muse that I've ever known is not in close enough proximity to me to continue to act as such. I do occasionally see "this woman" and this does poorly, temporarily recharge my creative batteries..... But it's not enough. I am like a plant, ... Denied of its necessary, sunlight, ... Tangible sunlight.
**I am aware that only a few extremely kind individuals read this blog ( narcissistic little E-Shrine) and "The Woman" isn't one of them.*"
I miss my inspiration.... I miss her. It's a constant, day to day struggle with out her in my day to day. But I struggle, I press on, in part for her. I love her, ... I always will

The lovely Gina Ruggieri, giving me some Instagram props for a necklace I sent her! Gina's a Model, who's been in Maxim, she's delightful, gorgeous (very tiny! She's a wee little thing!) and one helluva cool chick! In a previous entry there's a pic if her holding her framed Maxim magazine!

This little cutie is Aubrey. Her Mom Jess( who's also a cutie!) Had me make her Daughter & Mom heart necklaces to match hers

Matching Leashes for Wicked

A friend of mine commissioned me to make 2 leashes for a friend of hers who just got a new puppy. I'm very pleased with how these turned out. Red & black are two of my favorite colors!

 Each leash was made with only 2 pieces of cord. The inner 16ft core and the app. 60ft. outer shell. 550lb paracord was used, with a cobra stitch. And the cores of each leash matches the the  shell of the other!

 I really love making leashes. All the fun people will get to have with their dogs, and I get help make that happen. What a great feeling!
